Your Hawaii Volcano Tours ^TM adventure starts with an  morning or  afternoon pick-up from your Hilo-area hotel, cruise ship or airport. As we ascend Volcano Highway in the comfort of our luxury SUV notice the abundance of yellow and white kahalii (wild ginger), guava, ohia trees and lehua blossoms along the route. After entering Hawaii Volcanoes National Park we tour the Kilauea Caldera, Halema’uma’u Crater, Jaggar Museum and National Park Visitor’s Center. But wait - your adventure is just beginning as we travel Chain of Craters Road to the current lava flow ! Finally, a short hike through a rain forest brings us through Thurston Lava Tube. Bring your camera - the views are unbelievable!

Wear light-weight long pants and sturdy walking shoes. (Sandals and open shoes are not recommended.) Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat are advisable. 

Special Health Note:  Kilauea’s unique environment includes toxic volcanic fumes, so pregnant women, infants, small children and people with chronic health problems such as asthma or lung disease are advised to avoid this tour.
